IV. Installation instruction
4.1 The receiver module JP2 (PR5200) showcased above features an option switch for NO and NC settings of the photocell switch, enhancing customization.
4.1.1 Set the toggle switch JP2 to NC for a normally open position without power, facilitating versatile installation options.
4.1.2 With JP2 set to NO, experience a normally closed position without power, adapting to various system requirements.
4.2. Installation
4.2.1 For optimal performance, install the photocells at least 20cm above the ground and ensure a minimum distance of 50cm between the emitter and receiver to prevent reflection issues.
4.2.2 Position the photocell receiver away from direct sunlight or strong light sources by ±5º to ensure consistent and reliable operation.
4.2.3 Avoid interference by positioning other infrared photocell emitters outside the effective range of the receiver, ensuring system integrity.
4.2.4 For installations involving multiple photocells inline, place receivers at both ends and install emitters back-to-back for optimal functionality.
4.2.5 Ensure a stable installation to prevent signal misalignment due to minor vibrations, maintaining reliable function.
4.2.6 Adjust the PCBA when installing at an angle to enhance the installation quality and operational efficiency.
4.2.7 After verifying the correct setup, power the system and align the CAP of the emitter and receiver for proper function; misalignment results in the receiver LED activating.
4.2.8 With power on and lines checked, when JP2 is set to NC, maintain emitter and receiver CAP alignment for NC/NO connection; obstacles will disrupt NC/NO connection. The opposite is true when JP2 is set to NO.
